Online tax payment will likely be availabe to individuals and business
households in Viet Nam soon with the pilot implementation underway in
three major cities.
Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam today urged closer co-operation among ministries and sectors to reduce the prevalence of cash payments and conditions that encourage people to use electronic payment systems.
The finance ministry (MoF) has reported that 90 per cent of the
country''s enterprises have registered for online tax payment via their
accounts at commercial banks.
Fifteen commercial banks have signed a cooperative agreement with the
General Department of Taxation under the Ministry of Finance to offer
online tax payment services.
